About Club Derry

This was the sentiment held by the first Oak Leaf County which was formed in 1888.

Since then good men and women have given selflessly of their time, energy, expertise and financial support to promote gaelic games in our county.

In the early 90’s a like minded committee had the foresight to dream the dream of a "Centre of Excellence" to provide the facilities for the promotion of our games.

Club Derry was formed in 2005 with the purpose of involving you in playing your part to help continue the development of this vision well into the future.

Club Derry is about generating success both on and off the field of play and there have been many down through the years. Your steadfastness will ensure that the Oak Leaf County’s success will continue for generations to come.

Faoi Chumann Dhoire

Do b’é seo an tuairim a choinnig an chéad Chontae na Duilleoige Darach, a bunaíodh i 1888.

Ó shin i leith, tá fir agus mná maithe, tar éis a chuid ama, fuinnimh, oilteachta agus tacaíochta airgeadúil a thabhairt go gnaíúil, chun na Cluichí Ghaelacha a chur chun cinn in ár gcontae.

Ag tús na 90’s, bhí an réamhamharc ag coiste chomh-chlaonta, an bhrionglóid a thaibhreamh de "Ionad Feabhais", na háiseanna a sholáthair chun ár gcluichí a chothú.

Bunaíodh Cumann Dhoire i 2005 leis an chuspóir, Tusa a mhealladh, chun bheith páirteach i bhforbairt na físe seo i bhfad amach sa todhchaí.

Tá Cumann Dhoire bunaithe ar rath a tháirgiú, araon ar agus as an pháirc imeartha agus bhí an-chuid dóibh siúd thíos trí na blianta. Déanfaidh do rúndaigne deimhin de, go leanfaidh rath Chontae na Duilleoige Darach ar feadh na glúinte le teacht.
